Bill Guffey is a self-taught artist working mainly in oils with brushes and palette knives. Now living in his native Kentucky, with detours through Colorado, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Bill strives to bring life to his landscape paintings. To convey the feeling to the viewer that made him stop and say, "Man, I've got to paint that!" He is a juried member of the Oil Painters of America, was accepted into the All Kentucky Juried Fine Art Exhibition 2008, and has been awarded a grant through the Kentucky Arts Council. Bill paints every day.
