Deborah J. Jansen
Artist Statement-Deborah Jansen favors painting from
life. Her watercolor
paintings are inspired by her love of life and nature, her concern for
the environment and the people sharing it. She is thrilled to find that
place of wonderful light and color, that provocative living thing, and
that certain mood and connection—and is exhilarated when expressing
her impression and emotion with paint and brush. She has received awards
and recognition at juried exhibitions, galleries, and featured artist
invitationals. May her depictions catch your eye, too, and give you
thoughtful pause and pleasure.
