Mary Giacomini is a professional artist proficient in oil, watercolor, pastel and  acrylic painting.  Her work reflects scenes she's been inspired by; that gave her a peaceful feeling and would like to revisit.  Since she lives in Colorado, many of her paintings are of the dramatic landscapes surrounding her. She earned her BFA in studio arts and continues to challenge herself with new ideas, learning from other artists and attends a weekly portrait and figure drawing group.  Mary teaches both adult and children's art classes at the Loveland Museum and the Loveland Recreation Center . She has been part of the  Richard Schmid auction since 2003.  Her award winning work can be seen locally at Centennial Galleries ( Ft Collins) , The Grand Lake Gallery and Mt Living Studio in Manitou Springs.  Her website is marygiacomini.com and her blogspot (which features her latest creations and schedule of classes she teaches) is at mgiacominiart.blogspot.com.
